A lot of us are used to going to MileSpilt for results for our competitions. While we may love MileSplit, it is not the official rankings site for Colorado high school track and field. That distinction belongs to maxpreps.com
CV track coaches will be paying attention to athlete rankings as the season goes on, but athletes should be as well. Two days following a meet (sometimes sooner, sometimes later) you should log-in to see where your new best time/height/distance puts you in comparison to other tracksters from around the state. Remember: we want to be in the top 18

A few notes to keep in mind
- Make sure the drop down for Leaders by Division is set to "Division 5a"
- Change the Event Type drop down to your specific event
- You will notice that the relays results are wrong--MaxPreps I believe is having a lot of problems with this. We will just have to stay on top of it by making sure that our best results (non-wind aided if applicable) are recognized by MaxPreps, and to let them know about it when they're not.
- Something interesting may be to change the drop down for Leaders by League to "5A Continental" to see where you rank in the league
- To access without links: Go to www.maxpreps.com > Click on More Sports on the toolbar and select Track & Field > Underneath the toolbar you get a sub-toolbar where you can click on Stat Leaders > there you can click on Boys Colorado or Girls Colorado....OR you can search Castle View High School from the homepage and navigate to results through there.
